Bank Millennium as a patron of "Cultural Start-up"

Among this year's projects under the patronage of Bank Millennium, there is again a "Cultural Start-up". It is a Gliwice-based initiative supporting innovative ideas, unique events and art at the highest level.

"Cultural start-up" is an original program of the Victoria Cultural Centre in Gliwice, addressed to organisations, artists, animators, organisers of events and workshops - both professionals and amateurs, who have something unique to offer in the field of culture and art.

In this year's edition of the project, six local initiatives will be implemented:

1.The Pracownie Foundation will implement a project called Heritage of Gliwice – the work of Adalbert Kelm, the aim of which is to popularise the work of the First Building Counsel of Gliwice. Architectural workshops are also planned.

2.The informal group "Gliwice ArtNał" will invite the residents of Gliwice to Szałfenster 2023, Pokój/Niepokój, a microfestival of art and design, the idea of which is to raise deep and important topics of the modern world and process them through artistic activities.

3.The Chórtownia Foundation will organise a concert, which will be the culmination of a two-day choral workshop. In the church of All Saints, the choir together with an instrumental ensemble will perform, among others, works by Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki.

4.Polish Blues Day – discussion panel, film screening and concert – is an idea for a cultural and educational event by Michał Starzyński.

5.The Ostropa Brass Orchestra, the applicant together with three Gliwice brass bands (the Brass Orchestra of KWK "Sośnica", the Brass Orchestra of Huta Łabędy, the Brzezinka Brass Orchestra) will play an energetic concert in Ostropa, preceded by a spectacular march.

6. Photographer Jadwiga Janowska will organise her own exhibition "Heroes of the Nation" in one of the galleries in Gliwice.

For 30 years now Bank Millennium has been supporting national and local cultural events. As a sponsor of culture 360°, because it promotes it in almost all its forms. The Bank provides its support to both niche and popular culture.
